Westcor is presenting first, Building C, a 30 unit high quality large suite condominium Copper Horn Chalets Phase I. We have purchased this property as a partially complete development. Building C has the roof on and is locked up and Building B has the foundation complete. Westcor and its consultants are completing this project and will complete Building C as built. Building B with the foundation complete and building A will be redesigned by Nicholas Waissbluth AIBC and his team of talented designers. Westcor’s talented team of consultants have signed onto this partial build and Building C will be completed under their supervision, hopefully for the summer of 2022 move in. As with any project take over, Westcor has secured its Home Warranty provider Pacific Home Warranty for full 2/5/10 warranty coverage. Over the coming few months, some of the building sundecks will be dismantled and rebuilt. The windows will be changed to comply with the envelope engineer, the code requirement upgrades will be completed and the exterior, including the roof, will be completely new. Essentially the building will be a new build. Building B will continue construction as soon as the new plans are complete and ready to submit. Building A will be the final build. Originally there was a restaurant to be built on the site, Westcor will work to have a pool, hot tub and exercise fitness center with a reduced footprint. This is not available to Building C owners until approved and built in the last phase of construction, Building A.
Copper Horn was designed as a luxurious, time share, for sale homes. Building C is 49,000 sq ft for just 30 homes. Many homes are larger than 1,800 sq ft and are three bedrooms. The setting and design of Copper Horn is incredibly peaceful. This truly is a place to enjoy living in a quiet part of the Columbia Valley. Radium although small is close to Invermere with all the services. For those that want a second home, radium is under 3 hours from Calgary. With extensive country roads and trails so close, Secure Bike Parking is a must and has been included in this design. We have developed strong strategic relationships with a few companies specializing in Micro-Mobility solutions and Solar Technologies, allowing us to bring these solutions to all our new communities. We have considered the trend towards biking and electric bikes by addressing these needs in our designs. Incorporating stacking bike racks with recharging ability allows for the new trend toward electric bikes.
We are also working with our strategic partner to provide storage racks for things like Kayaks, Paddle Boards and Canoes in the extensive storage space of the Building C parkade.
Designed into the car parking areas will be adequate vehicle charging stations. The trend to electric vehicles is now well entrenched and has planned this through for the future for all its communities.
